Do you have Curbside Service?
Yes! WE ARE OPEN TO WALK-IN CUSTOMERS, but masks are required. We also offer Curbside Service. Please allow 24 hours to process your order during busy holiday weeks. You can let us know in Special Instructions on your order the day you would like to pick it up. Call when you arrive and we'll deliver Curbside.
Do you Deliver?
At certain times of the year we have limited Local Delivery including Oceanside, Rockville Center and Baldwin. (Payment in advance and minimum order $25.) We offer UPS shipping for out of the area deliveries. Delivery not available during major holiday weeks.
Where are you Located?
We are located at 229 Merrick Road in Oceanside, New York and have been offering quality handmade chocolate since 1953.
Are your chocolates Nut-Free?
Allergen Notice: Candy & chocolate made in our Emile's kitchen are made on shared equipment. All chocolates and treats may contain traces of milk, eggs, soy, tree nuts and peanuts.
Do you have Gluten-Free Chocolate?
Chocolate is naturally gluten-free since gluten is a substance present in cereal grains, especially wheat. Please note that we have specialty products with crackers, cookies, pretzels and crisps that contain gluten. In cases of severe allergy however, please use your discretion and abstain. If you need more information please contact the store.
Do you have Kosher Chocolate?
At this time we do not offer kosher products. If you are looking for holiday products please contact us for our selection which varies by season. Special orders are welcome.
Do you have sugar free chocolate?
Yes, we have a selection of Sugar-Free chocolates and bark.
When will my package be shipped?
We will process your order within 24 hours of placing it and send it out as soon as possible. End of week orders may ship on Monday due to weather or destination. We may delay shipment to avoid your package sitting in a UPS warehouse over the weekend to ensure successful delivery. Please contact the store if you have any questions regarding shipping.
If your chocolate sits in a metal mailbox/parcel box or in direct sunlight even for a short time, it will likely begin to melt. Make sure someone is home for delivery or perhaps use a work address.
Inaccurate, incomplete or invalid shipping addresses may delay order fulfillment.

What is your policy regarding shipping to warmer climates?
Shipping to hot weather states or parts of (Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas and Nevada) requires Next Day Delivery.
Note: During the Summer months (June-September), all states will be considered as hot weather states and will require 'warm weather shipping'; which may require an additional charge.

Yes! You can purchase a digital gift card or order a plastic gift card for your use.
Customers can use Emile's Candies gift cards to place orders online. During checkout, customers will have the option to enter the gift card code (located on the back of the card). If the amount on the gift card does not cover the total, the balance can be paid with a credit or debit card.
